Extra Dessert Delights Rainbow Sherbet
Sweetener: Artificial
Amount: 15 sticks
Story time! I got a job at Target as a cashier and a guest bought this in my line. I was EXCITED!! For the rest of my shift I OBSESSED over the thought of new gum, especially Dessert Delights since they have done such a great job so far. I made a bee line (or is it a b line?) to the gum isle and grabbed the pack! It’s only available in a three pack for now, and HURRY since it says that it is a limited edition!
The first fun thing about this gum is the packaging, it has all the colors you expect in rainbow sherbet. It’s nostalgic to me since my Granny always had some for me to have as a treat. The smell of the package is dead on, it’s rainbow sherbet. I was secretly hoping for a rainbow colored piece of gum, but it’s just pink. The problem now is that when you chew it, it’s warm. Sherbet is something you have cold so it tastes, at best, like very warm, melted sherbet. The flavor is uniform, there’s not moments of just lime, or orange, or raspberry, which would be complicated for gum makers, but would have been so awesome.
Don’t get me wrong, the gum tastes good. It’s just not dead-on sherbet. The flavor is not overbearing and is an interesting choice by Extra.
