Tree Hugger Gumballs
Location Purchased: The Rocket
A simple plastic bag filled with about 28 gumballs. The gumballs are the size of the smaller ones, about the size of a dime. There are five flavors- classic bubble gum, pomegranate, lemonade, wildberry, and watermelon. The color of each of the flavors on the package is the respective gumball color. All are naturally colored with items such as beet, paprika, and beta carotene. No artificial flavors, no gluten, no nuts, and no dairy. The bags have a random assortment so do not expect to get even amounts of each flavor.
The gumballs itself have a light crunch and great consistency, but they do not have a lasting flavor.
Lemonade- Sweet, but light on lemon. No tang.
Watermelon- I get that weird sensation that I always get with candy watermelon flavoring, but it’s not the normal flavor of watermelon. The flavor fights with the normal gumball flavor.
Pomegranate- I taste pomegranate and also what I think the taste of the smell of new shoes would be like, but don’t take that as a bad thing. Eh?
Wildberry- A more plain/natural berry flavor than any other gum I have tried. It’s muddled with more than one so you cannot pick out specifics.
Classic Bubble Gum- The flavor closest to its namesake, in my opinion.
I love the consistency, it’s comparable to Japanese gumballs. The flavors are all interesting, but do not last long enough to give a good enough insight. A good choice for the food sensitive child.
